RONIN

SYNOPSIS
A wandering, lone samurai warrior, Toshiro Kuroda, exhausted by his journey and dehydration, is confronted by another samurai. The samurai challenges Toshiro to a duel and he obliges until it is revealed that the samurai is his sensei (teacher). Toshiro flees from him but his sensei catches up and corners him. The two duel each other with Toshiro’s half-hearted attempts being ruthlessly torn down by Sensei’s cutting words and blade. Spurred on by Sensei’s words, Toshiro gains back his resolve and defeats Sensei. Sensei bids him farewell and asks to protect his last legacy and return home.
